How We’re Doing

Last year, we surveyed those we serve, parents, and funders to better understand how we were doing. We streamlined our feedback process so it’s easier for families and individuals to provide their insights, and so we can better recognize and respond to their feedback. Using this data, we targeted at least one specific area of concern in each of our service lines to help improve our satisfaction rates, and will continue to do so to increase this number.

For FY22, we ended the year with a 92% satisfaction rating. We served a total of 2,192 new people in FY22. We served 14 new people in Community Living Services, 150 new people in Employment and Community Connections Services, 1,409 new people in Autism Services, 430 new children and their families in Early Childhood Services, and added 189 new advocates in the Self-Determination in Action Project. Finally, we contracted a medical director to identify opportunities to improve health outcomes for the people we serve in Community Living Services. We set a goal for 90% of individuals served to be current with their preventative healthcare screenings, and ended the year by achieving 81%. We also are developing a new pilot to reduce hospitalizations and emergency room visits for the individuals we serve with mental illness and developmental disabilities. This new pilot is currently in process.
